Health Care Training with A1 Care

At A1 Care, our philosophy is to treat employees' costs as investments rather than expenses. We understand the importance of each staff member having the necessary educational and experiential training to provide outstanding care. At A1 Care we encourage and support the continued education of each of our employees!

At A1 Care, you won't just find a care job vacancy; you will find a family that cares about you. One that encourages you to prosper, develop and take on new challenges in your career. You will have the chance to study for extra qualifications/diplomas and be presented with opportunities for promotion.

We require each of our candidates to go through an invested induction programme outlined below:
  • 1. Attend a 3x day face to face training programme;
  • 2. Attend structured shadowing activities, where you will be expected to work in several different environments.
  • 3. Complete statutory and mandatory E-learning units.
  • 4. Undertake the care certificate, if not already completed.
  • 5. Attend weekly 12 supervisions with your mentor.

Career development is something we always encourage within our organization. At the beginning of your journey, we will assign you a mentor who will work closely with you to support you and offer further professional development that you may need.

Once our formal induction programme is complete and you have passed your probation, we will encourage you to undertake the health and social care diploma's levels. If you are 19 or over and do not already have a level 3 qualification or higher, you can access a free level 3 qualification in health and social care from the UK government. Visit the National Careers Service course finder to find a suitable course near you, and read more about the possibility on the UK government webpage

If a role in the care agency sounds perfect to you, apply for our care job vacancies. We will support you all the way and be as your extended family.
